Room 2’s Term 3 Newsletter, 2012

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Welcome back to term 3 and a special hello to our two new faces in Room 2 Layton and Jaiden Tansey, making a total of 19 pupils. I’m sure that the children are delighted to have some new faces.
Topics this term will include: Kia Kaha: Bullying (Health), Algebra, Subtraction (Maths), Olympics (a Literature and Social Science study), Materials (Science) Balance and Large Ball Skills (PE).
Here are our homework and class routines again for our new people and regulars who get confused:
School readers home on Monday to Thursday (no book bag, no book). Poem folders to go home Friday and come back Monday. Maths homework books to go home Monday and be handed in Friday. MathsBuddy online learning to support the curriculum work done in class. Library book exchange on Friday afternoon before assembly.
Room 2 children will be hosting the week 7 assembly.
