Thursday 30 May Dear Parents and Caregivers, Welcome back to term 2 and a special hello to our new boys, Kyan Taylor (year 3) and Lakai Rihari (year 2), to Room 2. Farewell to Cameron Penny, who is off to Otorohanga, best wishes to you and your family Cameron, we will miss you! We currently have 22 children in the class. Our major curriculum focuses this term will include: Keeping Ourselves Safe (Health), Addition/Algebra (Maths),Seasons (Science) Early Days (Social Studies) and Cross Country/ Jump Jam (PE). Our first class trip will be to the Te Awamutu Museum to participate in the “Toys and Games” education programme and exhibit on Wednesday 19th June. On July 1st we will be travelling to Mystery Creek to attend the Heritage Village. Please keep these dates in mind. Thankyou, hope to see you soon! Debbie van Dorsten
