Term 4 News
Term 4 News for Room 2
Dear Room 2 Parents and Caregivers,
Well it is term 4 already and the count down to Christmas has begun but first we have a load of activities to plough our way through. Our class role stands at 20.
We are currently doing a science unit on observation of scientific experiments which has been great fun. We are also mouse-sitting “Cheesio” for Hollie during her travels to the USA. This Friday is our class assembly.
We will be doing:
- A social studies unit on The Role of a Zoo Keeper next week with our trip to Hamilton Zoo on the 7th November.
- Our Waipapa Marae trip is planned for the 12th November.
- Our inter-school junior athletics will be held on 20th November and the Project Energise team have come on board to make it a really fun and well resourced day.
- As December starts we will be doing an art unit on print-making for Christmas cards, decorations and craft etc.
The class routines are as follows:
Library- Friday afternoon.
Maths homework books to be back at school on Friday.
Reading books go home and are written into the children’s reading diaries.
Poem folders - go home for weekend reading and are to be returned on Monday.
Maybe togs at school soon!
-School t-shirts and shoes are to be worn whenever we leave the school as a group and hats are to be worn during morning interval and lunch times in the first and fourth terms.
-School Assembly is held on a Friday at 1:15pm
